PFA
The Parent & Friends Association (PFA) plays an important part in our school, organising events that our children and their loved ones can take part in, for example the Christmas Disco and Summer Fairs, Mother’s Day Afternoon tea, Father’s Day movie Night, and many more.
The profits from these events go towards enhancing our school and our children’s education. In recent years we have paid for new interactive white boards for all classrooms, purchased laptops to support home learning during lockdown, consulted with the children’s school council to purchase new balls, skipping ropes and hula hoops to enhance their play time experience and funded Christmas panto’s and treats, to name just a few. But it’s not just about fundraising! It is also about building a sense of school community between parents, pupils and staff as well as providing our children with some well-deserved social and fun times. We truly believe that when the parents get behind the school, the school and it’s children flourish.
New and existing parents/carers and family are always welcome to partake in the PFA in a number of ways depending upon your time and capacity. It could include being part of the committee, a class rep, organising or co-ordinating events, or one-off volunteering at events or suggesting fundraising idea’s.
Many hands make light work – the more involvement from parent’s/carers and family the more we can achieve for our children and school.
If you are interested in becoming involved in the PFA please email us at
